About VisitWorks

Technology built around the way people welcome people.

The best hosted experiences are created by people who understand their guests, care about the details, and know what they want the experience to accomplish.

VisitWorks gives those teams a clearer way to bring people, schedules, spaces, resources, communication, logistics, and guest-facing moments together—without letting technology get in the way of the relationship.

Today
Still Evolving Built around real people and real programs

VisitWorks continues to grow through close client collaboration, changing guest expectations, and new possibilities for connected experiences.

The company began in 2013. The experience, insight, and original VisitWorks concept began much earlier.

Our Story

It began with a real customer visit.

VisitWorks was not imagined in a conference room as a collection of software features. It grew from years spent helping a real corporate sales organization plan and deliver customer experiences—and seeing firsthand how many people and details must come together to make a visit feel effortless.

1999 · The Beginning

A smaller system solved an immediate need.

The original VisitWorks concept was created in 1999 to support the customer visits managed by the Corporate Sales team of a global workplace organization at its Grand Rapids, Michigan location. Even in its earliest form, the solution addressed more than an agenda. Guest information, hosts, spaces, travel, hospitality, resources, communication, and changing details all needed to work together.

The Program Grew

What worked in one location expanded across continents.

As the customer-visit program grew, the technology expanded with it—supporting showroom locations throughout North America, South America, and Europe. Each new location brought different people, facilities, processes, and requirements, reinforcing the importance of creating structure without forcing every experience to work exactly the same way.

2013 · VisitWorks

Years of experience became a platform for other organizations.

VisitWorks was established as its own company in 2013. The platform was built to help other organizations bring greater clarity, consistency, flexibility, and intention to customer visits, events, tours, training, meetings, and other hosted experiences.

Today and Beyond

The platform continues to grow from real client needs.

New programs emerge. Locations are added. Guest expectations change. Teams discover better ways to work. VisitWorks continues to evolve by listening closely to the people using it and building capabilities that help technology support the experience rather than dominate it.

What We Believe

Built from experience, not theory.

Years of working alongside the people responsible for real visits taught us that the strongest technology provides useful structure while leaving room for judgment, creativity, hospitality, and human connection.

Human at the Center

The software should help people create better experiences—not make the technology itself the center of attention.

Flexible by Design

Every organization hosts differently. The environment should reflect the program, people, terminology, roles, and process involved.

Ready to Evolve

New locations, experience types, capabilities, and ideas should build onto what already works rather than force teams to begin again.

Technology should support human connection—not get in its way.

How We Work

We shape the environment around your organization.

We begin by understanding how your team hosts today, where information becomes disconnected, which details matter most, and what you want every guest to feel, understand, or remember.

The experiences you create and the audiences you welcome.
The people, locations, resources, logistics, approvals, and communication involved.
The terminology, roles, permissions, reporting, and processes your organization already uses.
The guest-facing moments that distinguish your program and should never feel generic.
01

Listen

Understand the purpose behind the process—not only what the system needs to do, but why it matters.

02

Shape

Configure the environment around your visit types, locations, roles, information, workflows, and guest experience.

03

Launch

Guide the setup into use with the context, support, and practical attention needed for the team to work confidently.

04

Evolve

Build onto the environment as programs, teams, locations, processes, expectations, and possibilities change.

A Direct and Collaborative Partnership

Work with people who understand both the platform and the experience.

Our clients work closely with the people who understand how VisitWorks is configured, how hosted programs operate, and how thoughtful technology can support the people behind them.

What Clients Can Expect

Practical attention to the real work.

We care about how the environment functions in daily use—not only whether a feature exists on a checklist.

Direct conversations with people who know the product and the reasoning behind it.
A willingness to understand the operational context before recommending a solution.
Configuration guided by the experience your organization is trying to create.
A long-term view of how the environment can continue to serve the program.

What We Protect

The personal touches that make the experience yours.

The goal is not to replace everything your team already does well. It is to connect, support, and strengthen it.

Your terminology, culture, roles, relationships, and way of welcoming people.
The flexibility teams need when judgment matters more than rigid automation.
The guest-facing details that should feel intentional rather than mass-produced.
The ability to grow without discarding the successful work already in place.

Before, During, After, and Always

A platform designed to keep moving.

A hosted experience begins with the first request, comes to life through planning and delivery, and continues through follow-up, reporting, learning, and the relationship that follows.
